If there ever was an organization fueled by love, you just found it
Doug and Margaret Smith, the parents of Meghann Marie Smith, whose young life was
cut short by a drunk driver. Court records showed that Catherine Roberts, who had
been drinking all day on the day of the accident that killed Meghann, was three times
over the legal limit at the time her vehicle fatally struck Meghann. Instead of
letting bitterness work on them, the Smiths went to work. They founded this organization
to help insure that no one else would have to face that knock on the door at four
in the morning.
Unfortunately, love doesn’t pay the bills. It takes money to do that.
This is a 501-C-3 organization. This means that your donation is tax deductible.
This organization is Meghann’s legacy. She dreamed of one day becoming a DPS trooper
to help get the drunk drivers off the roads and make them safer for everyone. This
is an all-hands-on-deck project. We keep the late hours so you can rest easier.
But we need your help to keep the wheels rolling and get the drunks off the road.
